I have known this family for many years now and was thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph the three youngest kids. While collaborating with their mom on clothing ideas, I came across a really cute tulle skirt online, and knew we had to have one for Macie. With some ribbon, hot glue, and pink and white tulle, I was able to create a little skirt in under 30 min. :) (perhaps I will post a diy) Plus, there was enough ribbon leftover to make a matching flower headband. Towards the end of the session, their dad had a brilliant idea to bring out the small motorcycle and have Joshua pose for some little biker man snapshots. I just love the vintage look of his denim shirt contrasting with the silver and black of the motorcycle...also, you can't help but love his rubber boots! :) Their older brother Jonathan did a great job of helping out with the kids and sorting and carrying props.
