Close your eyes and... imagine this... your beautiful family holding hands and rollicking through an endless field of wildflowers, giggling until the sun slowly departs from the sky or, how about this, the music from your favorite vinyls playing in the background as your family dances around the living room and the children hop from couch to couch singing along and then snuggling in colorful vintage quilts all clad in their coziest pjs complete with bare feet...oh! I've got it!...imagine that there is a HUGE tent (made out of more colorful patchwork quilts :)) ,out in a field, covered with rainbow lights and there are delightful books for everyone to read and plenty of popcorn to go around! What's that? Oh, your a senior and need graduation photos? Ok...close your eyes again and envision this... with your hair flowing in beautiful ringlets and the sun pouring it's warm rays down upon your shoulders, you gracefully pose beneath an old oak tree sitting in a vintage chair brought outside and placed in the loveliest spot.  Or with vintage suitcases and books from days gone by, you elegantly pose against the backdrop of a charming small town full of buildings covered in peeling paint and flooded with whimsical wonder.

     Hi! My name is Katarina and I thrive on the excitement of meeting each new family and working together to truly capture the love you share ,through my photographs, that I wholeheartedly believe will draw you closer together as a family!  I do this by calaborating with you to create a completely customized whimsical photoshoot!  I am passionate about photography and believe everyone is uniquely beautiful, after all we are made in the image of God!  Whether I'm photographing families, seniors, or children, I will work to create a relaxed environment where you can be yourselves, as if I'm not even there!  Walt Disney once said," Too many people grow up. That's the real trouble with the world, too many people grow up. They forget. They don't remember what it's like to be 12 years old.  They patronize, they treat children as inferiors.  Well I won't do that."

     He said it so beautifully!  I want to help you release your inner dreams and childlike character and help you envision your photoshoot through the eyes of a child! For the time during our photoshoot, I want you to throw off the stress and worries of this world and instead convert back into the little child we all are at heart, full of wonder and excitement at the little things in life...such as capturing fire flies in a jar, or watching the stars come out at night.  I want you to forget that I'm there to 'photograph' and instead think of me as a next door neighbor coming over to play!

 I will go the extra mile, even if it means acting completely crazy and standing on my head, to get the laughter flowing and put you at ease!  I consider myself a child in an adult body and I hope children realize this and leave our sessions with the excitement of knowing they have gained a new friend!!  I can't wait to meet you and begin planning your AMAZING photoshoot!
